We hope this update finds you well. As we continue to work diligently on the construction of “The Audrey,” we want to keep you informed about the latest developments, including some challenges we have encountered and our efforts to address them.

Extremely Hard Rock:

Over the past few weeks, our construction team encountered a challenge as we began the excavation process. We discovered extremely hard rock formations beneath the site at a shallow level, which has slowed our progress. Dealing with such challenging geological conditions requires additional time and specialized equipment.

“Little Friend” to the Rescue:

In response to these unexpected conditions, our civil contractors have taken proactive measures to address the challenge. We are pleased to inform you that we have brought in additional heavy machinery, including a 90-ton excavator equipped with the largest rock breaker (“Little Friend”) available in the country. This extra firepower is allowing us to efficiently break and remove the exceptionally hard rock.

Accelerating Progress:

With the new equipment in place, we are making significant strides in our efforts to make up for lost time. Hundreds of truckloads of rock are being removed from the site each week, facilitating the next stages of construction. Additionally, concrete walls are being installed to support the structure as we move forward.

Detailed Excavation:

Our focus will turn to the detailed excavation phase, which will involve precise digging and the installation of support columns and walls. This stage is crucial for ensuring the stability and structural integrity of the building. Subsoil drainage systems will also be implemented to manage groundwater effectively.
